ATTORNEY PROFILE
Tasia Matsuda
Tasia Matsuda relocated from Hawai‘i to Nebraska in 2018 to pursue her undergraduate studies at Creighton University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2022. She went on to attend Creighton University School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctor in May 2025.
While in law school, Tasia served as a senior-certified law clerk at Hug and Jacobs, LLC, where she assisted the attorneys with trial preparation, conducted legal research, and drafted motions and appellate briefs. Notably, she helped author an appellate brief that was submitted to the Nebraska Supreme Court that resulted in a successful reversal and remand on a sentencing issue. Through this experience, she gained valuable courtroom experience and appellate practice exposure, through shadowing the attorneys as well as through court appearances under the supervision of the attorneys.
Throughout her academic journey, Tasia has cultivated a strong passion for the law and a commitment to advocating for individuals navigating the legal system. She intends to focus her practice on juvenile law; criminal defense, and appellate practice.
